The entirety of atheism is contained in this response. Atheism is not a philosophy; it is not even a view of the world; it is simply a refusal to deny the obvious. Unfortunately, we live in a world in which the obvious is overlooked as a matter of principle. The obvious must be observed and re-observed and argued for. This is a thankless job. It carries with it an aura of petulance and insensitivity. It is, moreover, a job that the atheist does not want."I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours."

Calling you to nothing...

Thanks to Carly, again, for taking this video.  I'm sure that pictures will be forthcoming.
The joke is that the street corner we were on is usually occupied by very judgemental people of America's second favorite religion...I think we all know who's noodles are everybody's favorite.

The responses were mostly positive.  It will definitely happen again.

Fun Fact:  The text we were holding was "The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Anthology."

I'm just a guy. I have no opinions that I wish to share with you
Seriously, just a guy on a bucket here. Merely taller than you, I've got no moral authority. Why are you listening to me?
I have been called, to bring you a message of absolutely nothing. And I am answering that call.

This would be a HIT on Bourbon Street.

I will consider trying it the next time I'm out.

Perhaps you could share all of those wise trueisms with the rest of us?

They made me laugh.
