The entirety of atheism is contained in this response. Atheism is not a philosophy; it is not even a view of the world; it is simply a refusal to deny the obvious. Unfortunately, we live in a world in which the obvious is overlooked as a matter of principle. The obvious must be observed and re-observed and argued for. This is a thankless job. It carries with it an aura of petulance and insensitivity. It is, moreover, a job that the atheist does not want."I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours."

 Meet Connie Morris:
Morris was upset: "They are very serious about claiming to be a religion," she said. "We know it's a satire. I don't mind the ridicule; it comes with the job. But I do personally object to my own religious beliefs being ridiculed, and that's what the Pastafarians delight in doing."

"These Pastafarians, she said Wednesday, have sent her at least a thousand e-mails since last fall."

So, what's another e-mail?

To:  ConnieMorris2010@yahoo.com
From:  J.T. Eberhard
Subject:  You're doing a great job!

Mrs. Morris;

My name is J.T. Eberhard.  I am a student at Missouri State University and I have been a big fan of yours for some time.  I am sure you are busy, so I'll get right to the point and not waste any more of your time.

I find the fact that children in the state of Kansas are only being taught science that is based upon evidence gathered in the natural world is a bunch of bologna.  It is clear now that deductions based upon repeatable experimentation, observation, and the self-correcting scientific method, as well as any semblance of academic honesty, are no longer suitable to be taught to our children.

Where we disagree, however, is what alternative theory to offer up to these young 'uns, who are our future.  I must confess, that I feel for these poor, wayward youths because they are not being taught about the only true way to salvation:  the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Have you been touched by his Noodles, Connie?  Have you answered the call of his ever-so-Meaty Balls?  If the answer is "no" Connie, then he would like to hear from you.  The FSM can save your soul!  I used to be all hung up on drugs...now I'm all hung up on the FSM

In conclusion, thank you for fighting the good fight for the academic and spiritual integrity of our children!  The next step is deciding which idea bereft of any scientific evidence whatsoever to feed them.  I urge you to teach them Pastafarianism as science.  Nobody has ever died in his name.

I fully plan to have as many members of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster down here at MSU e-mail you with their support.  Thank you for your time Mrs. Morris.

J.T. Eberhard
VP MSU Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster

/Wanna send Connie Morris some love?  Her e-mail is at the top.

Your posts make me happy.

I saw you posted Loose Change 2nd Edition, which I just finished watching. I think every American should watch it, or at least do a little research of their own rather than believing whatever Fox news says.

Hey wassup? Dude I was lookin at those pix you posted about gay rights and stuff, and although I respectfully disagree I about died laughing. Especially about "it quickly became apparent that gluttony was not a sin at this particular church" and then "captain plaid" I about lost it.

I see it at a lot of churches... I give guys over 70 some leeway cuz maybe they cant work out or have a disability, but there is a lot of gluttony in churches and people act like its not a problem. I personally actually confront people like that... What pisses me off is when people are gonna tell me I cant wear shorts in a church and are overweight, but I tell them I dont think they should be fat. Which one is actually a sin according to the Bible anyway?

But yeah, I found that humorous. Disagreed, but funny. Hope all is well.

Oh yeah, April 12 or whatever I got in a mad bad accident dude. I was in the back but my friends car crashed goin a 120 [was not really paying attention to the speed] if you read my entry youll know why, but I dont think you will. Anyway we crashed and car flipped like 7 times... my life flashed before my eyes... it was boring [not really, no life flashing at all... I just watched and waited].

Anywho, I literally came out with just minor cuts and bruises which is NOT BAD considering.

ttyl. soida and see ya.
